One hundred and fifty years ago, Confederate and Union soldier left their mark on the horse hair plaster walls of a railroad-side building in Brandy Station, Virginia near the scene of one the largest Cavalry battles of the Civil War.

Today you can still make out the messages and pictures these men left behind, however, time has taken it’s toll on the building and walls. The house requires extensive restoration, and you can help through a variety of ways.

I discovered the Graffiti house a few years ago while visiting family in nearby Culpeper, Virginia, and in a subsequent visit snapped a photo and decided to make the Graffiti House a subject of a Sundance Replica.

As the old saying goes; “If you love what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life”.

A few years ago I came across “Sundance Replicas” – handcrafted minature replicas created from a photograph. I like the idea so much I bought the company and formed a partnership with my brother-in-law.

We really do love what we do and “work” to make sure it shows in our products and service. The most gratifying part of our work is seeing the reaction our customers have when they see their Replica. Each Replica is hand crafted. Without going into every step in the process of creating your Replica; once we’re finished cutting the wood, we hand paint all of the areas where the bare wood has been “exposed”. Each Replica takes a few hours to complete. But as I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s worth it!
